What to expect

4 days through Death Valley and the heart of Route 66.

  • Day 1 — Las Vegas → Death Valley (181 mi)

    Motorcycle pickup, then west through Pahrump into Death Valley. Dante's View, Zabriskie Point, Badwater Basin. Overnight at Furnace Creek.

  • Day 2 — Death Valley → Barstow (197–236 mi)

    Through the desert to historic Route 66. Overnight in Barstow, California.

  • Day 3 — Barstow → Laughlin (184 mi)

    Ludlow, Amboy with Roy's Cafe, Baghdad — classic Route 66. Arrive in Laughlin on the Colorado River.

  • Day 4 — Laughlin → Las Vegas (168 mi)

    Oatman, Cool Springs, Route 66 museum in Kingman, Hoover Dam. Return to Las Vegas.

What is the exact route?

Day 1: Las Vegas → Pahrump → Death Valley (Dante's View, Zabriskie Point, Badwater Basin) → Furnace Creek (~181 mi). Day 2: Death Valley → Barstow via Mojave Desert (~197–236 mi). Day 3: Barstow → Ludlow → Amboy → Laughlin on Route 66 (~184 mi). Day 4: Laughlin → Oatman → Kingman → Hoover Dam → Las Vegas (~168 mi).

Who is this tour suitable for?

Riders with multi-day touring experience. Days are long (150–200 miles) through remote desert terrain. Physically fit riders recommended. Passengers welcome on all days.

What is NOT included?

Flights, personal meals, travel insurance, national park entry fees (Death Valley: ~$30/vehicle, motorcycles $25 — the America the Beautiful Pass at $80 US residents / $250 non-residents covers all parks), gratuities, and anything not listed under "Included".

Do I need to pay Death Valley entry fees?

Yes — the Death Valley entrance fee is approximately $30 per vehicle (motorcycles: $25) and is not included in the tour price. The America the Beautiful Annual Pass ($80 for US residents / $250 for non-US residents) covers Death Valley and all other national parks. We handle the logistics on the day; you pay at the gate.

Do I need a US motorcycle license?

A valid motorcycle license from your home country is generally accepted. International Driving Permits are recommended. Contact us with your country and we confirm.

What motorcycle will I ride?

Harley-Davidson® Touring Class (Street Glide® or Road Glide®) as standard. Grand Touring and Classic Class also available. Select during booking.

What is the minimum group size?

Minimum 2 participants (drivers or passengers combined). Maximum 12 people.

What happens in extreme heat?

We schedule Death Valley in the cooler months (October–April). In case of unexpected extreme heat, we adjust timing and route for your safety.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Cancellations more than 91 days before departure: 20% of total. 90–61 days: 40%. 60–31 days: 75%. 30 days or less / no show: 90%. Please notify us as early as possible. Any outstanding fees will be invoiced via payment link. If a refund is due, it will be returned to the original payment method.
